Ine sits on the bed and looks at Dil and says, "Wow, that's... Really sad. All that really happened to you?" Dil looks back at him sadly and says, "I promise." Ine leans towards him looking sympathetic and says, "I'm so sorry... But then, how did you make it here?" Dil glances to the side with a slight smile and says, "Well, that's the good news." Then we see a flashback to young Dil, glancing sadly at the contents of an overturned trash can. Dil's voice says, "I spent a few days on the streets, begging and scrounging." Then we see young Dil glancing curiously towards a group of silhouettes in the distance, some of which appear smaller than the others. Dil's voice continues, "One day I saw a group of kids. Some were ferals, like me. It was a schooling program for underprivileged youth, run by volunteers from india and the U.S." Young Dil cautiously approaches from around a corner towards a smiling silhouette who's gesturing towards him. Dil's voice says, "I followed them, and when they found me they took me in and let me stay, even when the other kids went home." Finally, we see young Dil laughing and playing with a soccer ball with other kids, including a bipedal cat and a quadrupedal dog as an adult watches from the background. Dil says, "They never criticized me for walking on all fours. They let me be... me."

Ordinarily I wouldn't condone going with strangers… but that silhouette looks friendly, so I'll make an exception.
